  • Your main requirement is guest relations.
  • When the Resident manager is away - you will step in that position.
  • This can result in long hours but you have a strong staff compliment that assists when you need them. Clifftop is a busy lodge with high occupancies.
  • Check ins and Check outs - Opera system (can be taught)
  • Room checks before arrivals - Eye for Detail
  • Hosting/Guest Liaison
  • Assist with stock counts and entry of stock on spreadsheets. (Excel).
  • Daily lodge reports (15min) - (Opera and Excel)
  • Weekly reports - Once a week lodge happenings
  • Health and Safety requirements and understanding.
  • Disciplinary code - not be afraid to take action against a transgression.
  • CONFIDENCE in what you do.
  • General daily lodge management and the requirements that go with each new day.






  • Single room with double bed en-suit bathroom (shower only), air-con, fan, table and chair and veranda.
  • Laundry facilities available or a charge of R150. 00 per month for washing to be done.
  • Company telephone in room - calls made at own cost.
  • Very limited cell phone signal - MTN is the better option - no signal in the camp itself.
