Job Description:

Checking in and out of guests

Guest liaison & handling of any guest issues such as welcoming, entertaining, making small talk, finding out what activities they would like to do, meeting them in the bar, and occasionally having dinner with them.

Email correspondence & Telephonic reservations

It is essential that the applicant has a good command both written and verbal of the English language.

Communication with Travel Agents

Sales, Invoicing, Stock order & control.

Ordering of food, beverages and controlling of invoices issued to the lodge

HR: Basic staff issues, attendance register, off & leave control, Supervision of Housekeeping & cleanliness of all Lodge buildings, Supervision of Restaurant & kitchen stock takes & cleanliness. Administration work - filing of all guest invoices, guest registers, delivery notes, keeping a record of invoices, making sure that all invoices of Tour operators and arriving guests are paid in advance.

Making sure that we receive all necessary information of arriving guests, such as full names, dietary requirements, riding abilities, special occasions, etc.

The employee’s ordinary hours of work per day are 8 hours work with 1 hour for lunch. The working hours are however flexible and depends on the activity level at the lodge.

The employee will be required to work overtime when it is necessary.

Working cycle is 4 weeks work and 7 days off. After one year of work you are entitled to 21 days of leave.

An initial three months temporary contract of employment will be entered into and thereafter a permanent contract will be offered should both parties agree.




The applicant must have previous experience in a hospitality position at a four or five-star establishment.

A formal hospitality qualification would be an advantage.
