Click for a profile of Bright Recruitment My client is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager with at least 4-5 years in a busy bistro style restaurant based on the Garden Route.

The idea candidate needs to have a solid work ethic with contactable references, sound knowledge of staff and daily duties to be given to staff, extensive guest interaction with a hands-on approach to guest service and on the floor. Willing to work split, am and pm shifts in a busy restaurant.

Skills/Requirements:
  • Required to have operating knowledge and experience of weddings, functions and special events in order to correspond with guests from the initial query to the running of the function.
  • All -round beverage and food knowledge, computer literate and experience in stock taking and procedures are essential.
  • Will have to run the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
