My client is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager with at least 4-5 years in a busy bistro style restaurant based on the Garden Route.
The idea candidate needs to have a solid work ethic with contactable references, sound knowledge of staff and daily duties to be given to staff, extensive guest interaction with a hands-on approach to guest service and on the floor. Willing to work split, am and pm shifts in a busy restaurant.
Required to have operating knowledge and experience of weddings, functions and special events in order to correspond with guests from the initial query to the running of the function.
All -round beverage and food knowledge, computer literate and experience in stock taking and procedures are essential.
Will have to run the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
