Web Developer
Description:

We are currently one of the largest Adventure Tour Companies in Africa and are recruiting at our Cape Town Office. Although based at our Cape Town Office you will also have to travel to our Somerset West Office from time to time. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced WEB DEVELOPER ADMINISTRATOR to take on the full responsibility for the day to day running of our Web Development and in house support functions. In order to qualify
for this position the ideal candidate will be a strong individual who can work on his own and take control of matters at hand. This individual will possess the following attributes and be fluent and professional in their daily conduct.

Duties will include (but not limited) to:
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
  • Building and testing Application Program Interfaces for applications to exchange dats.
  • Building and maintaining databases.
  • Meeting designers, developers and project staff for progress updates.
  • Designing the architecture of the components of an application.
  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
  • Fixing bugs in existing projects.
  • Learning and testing new technologies, frameworks and languages.
  • And all other tasks related and associated with the web development sector.

Duties will include (but not limited) to:
* Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure (Routers, Switches and Firewalls).
* Compilation of computer related hardware spesifications, implementation and maintenance of hardware.
